Vancouver ramps up in preparation for Canada vs Morocco
The city has been coming alive for FIFA and tomorrow will be no exception. Canada taking on Morocco is going to turn the city up to 11. Let's get this. If you're going to the PNE Fan Festival, it's recommended to show up HOURS before the game if you want to get in at all.
Outdoor movies in Stanley Park are BACK
Core summer memories are about to unfold. Every Tuesday from July 14 to Sept. 1, thousands will gather on Stanley Park’s Grand Lawn for free movies on a 40‑foot inflatable screen. You can bring a blanket or chair, vote for one of the films, and snap up one of the first 75 VIP seats for front‑row comfort.
Pinoy Festival expands to two days at Swangard Stadium
Families are already marking calendars for the Pinoy Festival’s first two‑day run happening on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21. This is the first time it's expanded to Swangard Stadium, where a parade, live music, fashion show and food trucks will fill the weekend with colour, flavour and Filipino pride. The extra day means more chances to enjoy the celebration and share it with neighbours. Definitely checking this out.
Vancouverites hold hands on second date
We received word of a successful second date consisting of a picnic and a first hand-hold. The submission was brief, but the vibe was clear: summer is here and life is good. Here's to hoping there's more to this love story.

The cutest part: he naps on the neighbour's shed with his little feet tucked into the fence holes. The submitter thinks it might be one of the babies, all grown up and remembering his favourite hiding spot. How sweet.
