What is this?
Vancouver Feel Good is a hyper-local good news platform for Vancouver, BC. We publish short stories submitted by real people — found dogs, lemonade stands, passed exams, kind strangers, and everything in between.
No algorithms. No doom. Just tiny stories from your neighbourhood that remind you the world is mostly pretty decent.
Why does it exist?
Because the news cycle is exhausting and Vancouver is genuinely full of good people doing good things — it just never makes headlines. We wanted a place to put that stuff.
Also because a golden retriever getting found deserves its moment.
How do I submit a story?
Hit the Submit a story button, fill in a few fields, and send it our way. Anonymous submissions are totally welcome. A few sentences is all we need — we'll clean it up if needed.
✦Something kind happened in your neighbourhood
✦Someone you know achieved something worth celebrating
✦A local business did something that made you smile
✦A community came together around something good
✦Your pet did a heroic or ridiculous thing
How does publishing work?
Every submission is reviewed by a human before it goes live. We check that it's genuinely good news, respectful, and about Vancouver. Most stories are published within 24 hours.
We may lightly edit for length and clarity. We'll never change the spirit of your story.
